SPICY Sesame Chicken Noods

I have very recently developed a taste for spicy food. Given that I am Indian, this is quite sad because you’d think I’d have been born with that gene. Anywho – this recipe is amazing, because it combines many things I love – noodles, spicy, peanuts, and while I used chicken in this scenario – you can totally substitute tofu – or any other protein for that matter.

Necessities

-1/4 cup Tahini Sauce – you can buy the ready made sauce or you can be adventurous like me and make it so you need Sesame seeds and Olive Oils

– 1/2 lb Linguine

– 2 tbs sambal oelek

– 1 package pre-packaged Trader Joe’s garlic minced

– 3 tbl soy sauce

– 1 tbs Hot Chili Oil

– 1 spoon peanut butter (you can use peanut oil if you want, but I love peanut butter)

– 3 scallions chopped

– Choice of protein

Directions

– Cook protein in whatever fashion you love

– Mix tahini (recipe below), garlic, peanut butter, sambal oelek, chili oil, and soy sauce together – set aside.

– Boil Pasta (make sure you boil your pasta with salt – it’s the chef thing to do)

– Mix pasta, sauce, and protein together – top with scallions and voila the most delicious recipe ever. YOU ARE WELCOME

Tahinis

– Sesame seeds

– Olive Oil

Directions

– Preheat oven to 350 and roast sesame seeds for 10 minutes

– Let cool for 20 minutes

– Take seeds and put in food processor – add olive oil till you get a creamy mixture (it’s a lot of olive oil but olive oil is good for you)
